![]() I couldn’t be without that bottom right light gold. This palette, of course, has the liquid golden center but rather than the greys and silvers promotes more golden tones. ![]() I know the purples are big this holiday and I’ve embraced that, but I wasn’t sure I wanted more of them. I will admit, I bought this one as an after-thought. Golden Shock 756 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ($60.00, Nordstrom). ![]() For mascara I layered Milani Total Lash Cover and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. The eye liner is Urban Decay Black Velvet 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil. Next that amazing center liquid gold shade is dabbed right where the mid-tone grey meets the khaki toned gold. The mid-tone grey is used to blend out the crease and I applied the greige shade at the inner corners and to blend out the mid-tone grey. The graphite grey shade is at the crease and outer V, blended heavily. Trust.įor the eye look below I began with UDPP as my base and applied that gorgeous khaki toned gold all over the lid, leaving a bit at the inner corners bare. A lot of people whine about the middle shade which seems to pop up a lot in the holiday quads… it’s almost like a liquid gold which is basically sheer on the eye other than some glitter – but once you use it (I tend to dab it at the inner corner or on the center of a finished eye look) you will need it on. This is golds and silvers working together on all levels of perfection. Of course it’s the gold one and I love all the gold but this is truly beautiful, especially the deep khaki toned gold there in the upper right. You guys, if you can find this… GET THIS. ![]() This one seemingly sold out quick, but you might be able to find it in stores… I ordered awhile ago and felt frantic the order would be cancelled because the cart said 2 left when I checked out at Neiman Marcus. I wanted to share this one first since this is the palette that I did the eye look with and I’m so in love with how it came out. Golden Reflections 046 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ($60.00). Are we really surprised? (*If it’s still available as of this blog post I’ll link to where you can buy it). Well, this year I needed both of the 5-Couleur Eyeshadow Palettes and a few other goodies. I always seem to “need” their gold toned 5-Couleur every year. Very few holiday beauty offerings make me as happy as the ones from Dior. This week for Makeup Wars we’re talking about holiday and creating looks with holiday palettes… or, if we aren’t feeling so festive, bold looks. ![]()
